I'm really excited to read this book--I got it for my birthday. The images of gems in the back are also very neat, and look real (don't I wish! [img]wink.gif[/img] ).

The new Sam mystery and Kit's are my favorites. They're both absolutely great.

I thought Lissie's was ok, it was too obvious who the "bad guy" was, and once you "figured" it out, it seemed pointless to keep reading it.

The old Sam one was also just ok, too Hitchcock-y, and in an unrealistic way. I just couldn't see most of what happened actaully happening, unlike the newer one which seemed much more believable.

The Josefina one was great. I was really worried about how they'd realistically get her character in a mystery setting because Josefina is not a very curious girl, but I thought they did a great job on it.

The Molly one didn't do much for me, and I got bored of it about halfway through and had to force myself to finish reading [img]redface.gif[/img]

I LOVE the mystery books. I really hope they keep releasing them, because even the ones that aren't amazing, are still a million times better than no new AG books.

Thanks to Emily's kindness (loaning me her books), I've read all the mysteries now. I loved them all, especially Kit's and Sam's Ravenscourt. I read Samantha's second one first and, after reading the first one, had to wonder why Sapphire never mentioned [trying not to release any spoilers] the event that takes place at the end of Ravenscourt. And I wonder if that event will become a book in itself, perhaps a short story.
Judi, I just bought the minute mysteries book at B&N. I haven't had time to look at it yet because I've been too enthralled in "The Dogs of Babel" (FANTASTIC!!!) and Julia's awesome "Tiny Treats!"
